Kevin Henson, LPC, Mental Health Court Lead Therapist

Kevin is a licensed Mental Health Therapist who earned his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the College of Idaho and a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. He specializes in evidence-based approaches, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and solution-focused techniques.

Kevin works with individuals experiencing Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar I and II Disorders, and Schizophrenia. He is committed to continually expanding his clinical expertise and adapting treatment methods to make mental health care more accessible to all.

He is passionate about helping clients recognize their strengths, build effective coping skills, and reach their full potential. He provides inclusive, culturally competent care to a diverse range of clients, including members of the LGBTQIA+ community.

Kevin also serves in a leadership role with the Region Three Mental Health Court Team, supporting individuals in developing trauma-informed skills and working toward long-term recovery. Outside of work, Kevin enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing video games, hosting board game nights, and exploring the outdoors.
