Kevin Henson, LPC, Mental Health Court Lead Therapist
Kevin is a dedicated Mental Health Therapist. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the College of Idaho in 2017, followed by a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
With expertise in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and solution-focused approaches.
His clinical focus includes working with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, Bipolar I and II, and schizophrenia, though he is continually expanding his expertise to incorporate innovative treatment techniques for a broad spectrum of mental health disorders.
Kevin is deeply passionate about empowering individuals to recognize their full potential and providing tailored therapeutic support to those in need.
Kevin serves a diverse clientele across a wide age range, including individuals from the LGBTQIA+ community, and is committed to offering compassionate, culturally competent care.
Since becoming a licensed therapist in 2024, Kevin has taken on a leadership role within the Region Three Mental Health Court Team, where he collaborates with colleagues to support participants in developing trauma-informed coping skills, enhancing emotional regulation, and fostering long-term recovery from substance use.
Outside of his professional life, Kevin enjoys spending time with his family, friends, and pets, as well as engaging in activities such as video gaming, socializing, board game nights, and exploring the outdoors.
