Pamela Rose, Recovery Coach

A true pioneer in Idaho's peer support landscape, Pamela Rose, CPS, has been a driving force at Human Supports of Idaho since 2014. A State-Certified Peer Specialist, Pamela earned her certification from Mountain States Group (Jannus) in 2009 and has since been instrumental in shaping and delivering peer support services across the state. In 2024, Pamela was awarded Peer of the Year from Region 3 Behavioral Health.

Pamela's commitment to helping others began at the Idaho State School and Hospital, where she initially worked in direct care. In 2011, HSI offered Pamela the unique opportunity to spearhead the creation and operation of Idaho's first peer-run drop-in center, providing vital support and encouragement to individuals on their mental wellness journeys right here in Idaho.

Pamela uniquely blends her Peer Support and Intentional Peer Support training with her deep understanding and passion for WRAP (Wellness Recovery Action Planning). This integrated approach empowers her peers to emphasize strengths and possibilities rather than dwelling on deficits.

For Pamela her favorite word is HOPE, because with hope, anyone can recover a life of choice instead of circumstance. With hope, there are no limits to how far a person's recovery will go.
