Sam Mauk, LPC MH Manager

Sam received his bachelor’s in Criminal Justice and Sociology from the University of Idaho and his Master's in Mental Health Counseling from Idaho State University. 

His specialties include crisis intervention and crisis management.  

Prior to working for HSI, Sam was a Designated Examiner and Clinician for the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare. 

In 2023, HSI was awarded the region three Mental Health Court contract. Sam was the perfect person to lead the team in serving this population. 

Sam's passion and dedication to helping those struggling with Mental Health within the court system are unmatched. Sam became the Director of Community-Based Services in the Summer of 2023. He lends his knowledge about the surrounding communities and the resources they offer in order to help our staff serve our clients the best way HSI knows how. 

He enjoys spending time with his children, the outdoors, and is an avid sports enthusiast.
