He holds an M.D. and Ph.D. in Neurobiology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and completed a research-track residency at Duke University, where he received grants from the National MS Society to study the connection between physical and mental health. As a former Medical Director at Idaho State Hospital North and St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center, he brings a rare combination of research depth and clinical leadership to every patient.

Most outpatient mental health services are covered under Medicare Part B. After your annual deductible, Medicare typically pays 80% of approved costs, with any remainder often picked up by a supplemental plan.
